The FILTRON K1079A is a high-quality cabin filter with activated carbon, designed to effectively protect the health of passengers and improve driving comfort. It cleans the air entering the vehicle not only from particulate matter and allergens but also from unpleasant odors and harmful gases that could negatively affect the health and well-being of the driver and passengers.

Construction and Filtration Technology

The K1079A filter consists of a three-layer filtration structure:

1. Two outer layers made of synthetic nonwoven fabric trap plant pollen, dust, sand, soot, as well as fungal spores and fine asphalt particles.

2. The inner layer contains activated carbon granules, which effectively remove harmful gases and unpleasant odors from the passing air.

Activated carbon has a porous structure with an exceptionally large specific surface area (up to 900 m² per gram), which allows it to effectively capture gaseous pollutants through the process of adsorption. As a result, the filter eliminates up to 90% of harmful gases, such as:
