Cabin Filter Filtron K1014A
Filtron K1014A is a high-quality pollen cabin filter with added activated carbon, designed for effective purification of the air entering the vehicle interior. It provides protection not only against dust, dirt, and allergens but also neutralizes unpleasant odors and harmful gases present in the atmospheric air.
Construction and operation of the filter
The K1014A filter consists of a three-layer filtration barrier:
Two outer layers made of high-quality synthetic nonwoven fabric trap solid particles such as pollen, dust, soot, and suspended particulates PM10 and PM2.5.
The inner layer contains activated carbon granules, which absorb harmful chemical compounds – including ozone, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and various hydrocarbons.
Thanks to its porous structure and large specific surface area (up to 900 m²/g), the activated carbon acts as an advanced chemical barrier, improving the air quality inside the vehicle.
